I decided to call the blog this rather bizarre title after a discussion in my classes about housework. I have a little plaque on my wall that simply says “housework makes you ugly”. Probably not true, but it does sum up my attitude to being a slave to domestic pursuits. I would much rather draw in the dust than worry about removing it.
